It’s Time to stART

If you’ve never been out to a stART event, you’ve been missing out on a lot of fun, but you are in luck. The stART crew is having a Spring edition, May 16, 2010 . I’ve pulled together here some photos and videos* of past stART events from 2007 through 2009. This should give you an idea of what stART is all about.

stART on the Street is a series of art festivals held (primarily) in the street. Their big event is in September (This year: Sunday, September 19, 2010, 11am – 5pm ) on Park Ave. According to the stART website, the 2009 event hosted over 25,000 attendees, 250+ artists and crafters, 20+ performers, youth activities, food court – and it’s all FREE.

The Spring Edition is a new event. They’ve got over 135 artists and crafters along with all the other fun stuff that goes along with a stART event.

In addition to being an awesome day of shopping and supporting our local arts community, stART is a good opportunity to get out and meet people and catch up with friends. These are very relaxed, social events that are great for all ages.

“Over 135 local artists and crafters selling their handmade wares, performers, area restaurants, youth activities, organizations and more assembled on North Main Street in Worcester, MA. 11am – 5pm. FREE!!”
