Well, It looks like it’s going to be a good weekend to look for stuff to do indoors. Luckily, Higgins is having some fun stuff to do. These are probably better for adults, especially the Festival of Ale (duh!).

Tickets at door: $45. Designated drivers: $5.
Medieval beer was considered a good source of nutrition for peasants and noblemen alike and often comprised a considerable portion of the medieval diet. Fortunately, food is offered as another option during the Higgins’ popular Festival, featuring samplings of craft beers from throughout New England as well as talks by regional brewers. Advance tickets available at www.higgins.org beginning Oct. 14.
