We visited Tower Hill again this weekend but instead of walking around the formal gardens like we did during our last visit, we explored the wooded paths on the other side of the buildings.
Pliny’s Fountain at the base of the summit trail. There’s a geyser-like display every few minutes.
Belvedere Overlook is a nice place to sit and enjoy the breeze and the view of Mount Wachusett and the reservoir.
We went up to the summit this time. It’s one of the few trails at Tower Hill that’s a bit steep. The view is pretty great up there. I managed not to fall off the mountain so that was good.
There are several statues along the paths. It seems like most are memorials, some are gifts to Tower Hill. I like the unexpectedness of art in the woods.
